What a ride!

I had so much fun with this read. My best friend got me this book when she went to Europe and man, oh, man was I jealous of that trip but! But. I am happy that she thought of me while she was there. hehehehe

Anyway! Back to the book!

Betting on You is a YA, fake-dating, cynic vs nerd book. I was really unsure whether I would enjoy it when I first started it.

Bailey seemed kinda stuck up and Charlie seemed like a playboy and I was just like…. mmmmmmm. But, my friend Talia, (xoxox) she said she enjoyed it so I kept reading.

I thought Charlie was really funny. I actually laughed quite a few times, which was really nice. Also, this is one of the first time I’ve added notes to a book.

Like, “If you run into the bathroom and there’s one open stall and two of you ladies, are you going to push the other chick out of the way?”

“If it means beating you, then yes.”

I don’t don’t know why I find it so funny, I love dark humor and Charlie is a sarcastic little turd.

The tension: palpable. Romance? Got it. Good characters: yep.

It was kinda cool that there were very specific things for each character, you know? Like Bailey and her weird way of eating or Charlie with his germphobia.
