I love bagels. They’re terribly important to me. Alto Cafe & Bakery had true, amazing bagels. So worth the trip!

Good food. I love good food. Some friends recommended Alto Cafe & Bakery for their doughnuts and while we were passing by, heading to Machu Picchu, we found it!

I’ve been trying to think of what I ordered. I’m pretty sure I got some gluten-free pancakes with coffee if I’m not mistaken. They were delectable.

My dad got a bagel with Hollandaise Eggs with a smoothie that had turmeric in it.

We got two bagels to share and truthfully, we should have gotten like eight, but you know, the gluten does chase me to kill me afterwards.

Alto Cafe & Bakery is in a nice location. It’s got nice views and a little playground for children. They had these fun little bean bags that were a little hard to eat in but it was fun.

Gluten-Free and Vegetarian Options

Their menu has little signs on it with vegetarian and gluten-free options. Happiness!

They serve breakfast and lunch and pastries.

Alto Cafe & Bakery Menu

Okay, so they don’t have a website, but they have an instagram.

I kind of wish they had a menu on their link-tree. it’s one of those pretty important things, don’t you think?

My Drawbacks

It was a little far away and not really in a centric part of Cusco. But hey. It’s worth it. Even just for a bagel.

Would I go back? Absolutely.
